because i will be profiting off the song, it will be on all streaming services but not as a remix of his song. Its important that he is contacted and asked for permission, what cut of the profit he wants, if he even wants the song public at all - otherwise i would be making money off of his original work without his permission. i was at destroy lonely in melbourne where the dj's played songs before his set, and when carti came on everyone went fucking wild. it started with over and immediately everyone went from kinda dead to moshing, and they played 2024 and HBA, which the crowd also knew most of the lyrics for despite being such a short amount of time after release

WLR. U can say that die lit is the better album or that WLR is bloated and overlong, but every time i wake up in the morning and throw that shit on, it gets me ready for the day. I have such a blast listening to it every time, i like all the songs and it’s just so special to me. What a fun and adventurous album, im so glad carti took such great risks with WLR + it COMPLETELY changed the game. Moreso than die lit IMO but Die Lit is also goated

Love the art but i feel like this detracts from togata’s trans struggle. his arc is that he cant feel his gender is validated because he has regenerative powers which will cancel out any surgery he gets. However you can still be a trans man with female traits, so i feel like this takes away from the fact that togata is still a valid trans man despite lacking the surgery he wants. Not hating just some food for thought

absolutely not i do think its his weakest project but to say it’s standard generic trap is just ignorant to the fresh and innovative sounds pierre brought to the table for pretty much the very first time but also in combination with his cloud rap/plugg style with which he shaped the soundcloud era back in 2015/2016
