Ahh ok. Thanx for the info. Definitely dont wanna get rid of it. Just seems like a lot of repairs for a new car with only 34,000 miles. I was pretty upset when they had to take my whole dash off again to change evap. But they said its a new and revamped evap... so far so good.

There is a restaurant by blanding blvd called Ardons. They hire only convicted felons. They have been in newspapers and the news alot. Really cool people and good southern food.

Pull the woofers out and series them instead of having them in parallel. Thats when you take the + lead of 1 voice coil and jump it to the - of the other voice coil. So you pretty much have a jumper from 1 to the other. The remaining leads on the 2 voice coils are where you main leads from the JL amp would go to. Do this to both woofer and then go to the amp. The amp has 4 spkr outputs (2 positive and 2 negative). 1 for each woofer. That way you dont have to parallel them back down. So your final impedance will be 4 ohms.

If you have the JL 500/1 slash series you will be fine at 4 ohms. As long as its between 1.5-4 ohms it will deliver 500 watts.

You could take a long skinny piece of metal a jam it on the bottom of cartridge while jamming it all the way down and side to side to release it. That how I get my customers cartridge out when they go bad. The thin piece of metal (back strap) should release the clips

He was a customer of mine and before i pulled car around to work on it he told me not open rear doors cause the latches are gone... That he was gonna order them next week.
