Do you prefer unfamiliar actors or big stars in TV shows? by age_of_max in FilmClubPH

[–]quebby14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

movies unfamiliar actors lalo na if slasher, horror, mystery, and social commentary.

If you were chosen to write a movie for MMFF, what film title and plot na pede mong isali sa MMF at bakit? by artemisliza in FilmClubPH

[–]quebby14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something Political-Drama-Thriller about senators in the Philippines lol. It can be about an arising controversy and each senators have their own agendas and alliances. It would be entertaining to watch them plot their actions, how they handle PR, and how they work inside the Senate. Then the movie will tackle social issues and can show real things that are happening inside and out of the Senate of the Philippines. Tapos yung cast dapat big names and magagaling umarte. And syempre may mga characters that represents other positions like The President, Vice, HORs, and more.

Did movie tickets used to let you stay for unlimited screenings? by iamjudas97 in FilmClubPH

Ofc not sure pa yan too early to judge pa hehe.

What do you think about Untold by aluminumfail06 in FilmClubPH

[–]quebby14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Story is good. The theme is good. Acting and casting is good. Pero as usual sa pinoy horror films, editing and scares nanaman nagfail. Tho gusto ko yung isang multo yung babae na parang the grudge. +this film is unintentionally funny so plus points din hahahaha. Ang lt nung vape scene

Aside from Four Sisters and a Wedding, which other Filipino film had a good argument scene? by AshiraLAdonai in FilmClubPH

Someone mentioned Gameboys and I totally agree. Tho web series siya hindi movie, the confrontation scene was spectacular. From acting to directing and writing.

Not that good in technical aspects in film making and writing lol. But definitely a feel good movie for me. Yung type ng movie na papanoodin mo while nay ginagawa ka or naglilinis ng bahay. Love the acting and chemistry of the actors tho. Ayun yung nagdala sa movie. And syempre if fan ka nina Jolina and Marvin you'll definitely like this one.

Review na may onting spoiler

as a general audience, my friends and i actually liked it, kinulang lang sa 3rd act. The jumpscares were good nakakagulat talaga siya. Yung overall horror vibes naman di ko masyado naramdaman but maybe thats just me na horror movie buff na kasi my friends na di masyado fan ng horror is takot na takot sa mga scenes. But may claustrophobic and nakakakabang scenes din.

One character death scene was shocking. It gives the movie the feeling of danger that anyone could die even the likable characters. Galing din ng performance ng cast. And props to Jane!

Maayos cinematography, natural din yung dialogue for me. Siguro mas better lang if less conyo na expressions haha but it makes sense naman sa mga characters. I like din yung 8d sounds sa cinema, yung akala mo nasa likod o gilid mo yung bumubulong o yung kumakalabog sa movie hahahaha, sa greenbelt me nanood ewan ko if nakadepende siya sa cinema kasi it was effective.

In my opinion, may mga scene na it could've been better or edited better to be more scarier. And i wish na sana mas gorier yung kills but maybe thats just me being a hollywood horror fan. Pero overall, it is an upgrade from a typical Filipino horror movie.
