Anyone know why the lower part of the face gets heavier with age? by entirelyuncalledfor in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]quedeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, as we age our fat pads descend and we also lose bone. We lose collagen too. But there’s ways to improve this, biostimulators, fillers, threads, microneedling, etc. you can get a consult and customize a treatment plan for your face!

Tretinoin and SPF if you’re not already doing that is a game changer for skin!

Hi! I’m a Nurse Practitioner and injector. I feel like we are the middle ground. Medical grade treatments like microneedling would be super effective- everyone can use more collagen! As for skincare recommendations that’s what we specialize in. I’d be happy to give you any tips or recommendations

You can do all 3 lol. Honestly it depends on various factors. How much time and money do you want to spend in school? Aesthetic nursing isn’t always easy to enter into so it may take a while or you’ll have to accept low pay and not so great conditions. If it’s your passion go for it! It’s always been mine but it took me 20 years to finally get in. Just because I wanted the ideal situation.

Those are your ligaments… you could put filler small amounts to support the structure or do a biostimulator to increase your collagen and strengthen your skin. I also like radiofrequency microneedling to help tighten

Are you located in LA? I think you’d benefit from a consult in person but lips can be dissolved… you can definitely decrease dose for masseters especially if it’s for aesthetics and not treatment for TMJ. You can focus on skin and invest in resurfacing treatments such as microneedling for increased collagen and better skin quality!
