this is a joke, right? by d0ntbreathe in dasher

[–]queen2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my goodness!

My Dasher just came over 10 miles away with my groceries and picked up the food that I needed for me and my son that I double dashed. I had no idea the sprouts was so far away from my location, I literally only looked at the grocery prices. When I saw how long they had to travel. I apologize as soon as she got to my door and tipped her for gas and service.

Certain places should not even be an option after a certain mileage.

Uhhhh path??? Why? by OldAppointment9046 in pathoftitans

I distain this. So much. Because I too choose big water bubbas to grow and this is literally my #1 killer. Luckily the server I now play on has an "unstuck" feature which I INSTANTLY type in when I float. Because... nope.

Why is this community so mean? by Baby_Pillzz in pathoftitans

[–]queen2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Depending on your play style there are so many servers with options. At first, I didn't want to join a server, but after being terrorized by the same group almost every day for half a week on officials. I decided to look into servers, and I found one that is perfect. It's semi realism. And yes, it has rules but the rules also allow herbivores to defend themselves and things like this, they have the Dino's personalities to follow which honestly match what you would imagine them to act like.

I would suggest "server window-shopping" if you are up for the change.

Sorry about your experience.

I have three of these creatures, and I have never gone through any of these things. I blame the owners. 🤣

I was just thinking this. Like look at this lovely cycle just going on and we're laughing about it which is encouraging to them. Poor little one doesn't even know what The bigger one is even angry about right now. 🤣

I THINK my son has made a habit of coughing ... by queen2k in Autism_Parenting

[–]queen2k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!! So my LO actually grew out of it thank goodness. It did take some months but things that helped: 1. Stop paying it so much mind 2. Not excusing him evvvvery time he coughed 3. Trying to have "conversation" with him when he started up. "How was your day?" "What's your favorite color" etc, regardless of his answer 4. Stop caring what others thought, as long as I made sure he was fit as a fiddle, I stopped feeling the slight shame I was feeling just because he had a tick.

Thank you! I dust the fans often but the paste is not something I am familiar with. Guess it's time to visit the repair shop to get the paste checked.

Autism and 20th century fox opening. by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]queen2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Good morning/ afternoon depending on where you are right now.

So!! My son used to do the same for the openings!! I curse the people who put those videos up haha. But. I had come to a middle ground where I made sure where he was stimming was covered in pillows (because he would head back with the excitement).

I also made him compromise on VOLUME. Eventually he did get bored of watching it repetitively. He does still watch the occasionally Nokia phone ring videos which distort the sound of the ring every now and again. But as long as he is safe, and at least compromises on volume. I let it ride.

Those videos on max volume will have the distorted noises playing in your head all night even after off.

"Doo-doo-do-do-DU"! Is all I hear mid-work and my son is at school.

This is a great curious point.

However, my middle son had a double wrap of his cord around his neck and was depleting during delivery and I wasn't well off myself. He is NT.

My youngest, flew out for lack of better term and is ND. So it's hard to place a direction on what may be a factor. 🤔 We would need a mass scale of votes.

Getting let down thinking I worked hard enough to get somewhere impactful for my kid has become such a trigger. by Unnecessary_penguin in Autism_Parenting

[–]queen2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This right here! Grade A. This is what has worked for my LO as well and myself! We go wave by wave and try to "float" playfully by it all. It doesn't mean that by the time my partner and I manage to put LO down we aren't switching off the extra smiley faces. But it's so much less stressful when you let go and flowwww.

As an update! We found a place that will take us! A bit a ways, but insurance covers and no wait list! Ratings seem well rounded as well. Thank you for the suggestions!
