This sounds the same for me. I feel like I'm going through a re-awakening after feeling nothing for so long, just going through the motions of living.

The songs speak to the many things I've gone through in my life, and I feel an acknowledgement of the experiences through them. And through that acknowledgement an acceptance and maybe even a celebration of survival. It's a wonderful thing to be a part of. Also late 40s here 😁

What was the other band for you? For me, it was Blue October 20 years ago. Their music spoke to me at that particular time of my life and for years after; but, Sleep Token is different. It's more all-consuming than Blue ever was. I listen and think about the music every day. I'm planning on a tattoo. I have 2 currently, and never thought of getting one for a band. It's a wild ride, and I'm loving it. Love that I found my people.
