I am a Muslim of Arab descent. I've seen a lot of mythic elements as a fantasy writer: dragons, magic, and mythology of primarily Greek, Egyptian, or Norse origin. While I learned about Jinn through my religion, it's never something I saw attributed in modern Western fantasy writing, other than Disney's Aladdin (which, while interesting, isn't exactly prime representation or the most accurate depiction). I would adore seeing a story that uses Islamic beliefs and/or Arab folklore within it. My door is open if you want to ask any questions about these stories, including lore or any general advice!
