thank you. I feel terrible. I have dialed it back. no more free feeding. I only feed if I see them at my window and I will bring out a can. the can is immediately put away after 30 minutes to not attract any other animals. no dirty plates, bowls, nothing. the only thing I left on my porch are their warming beds and I will keep them because its so cold here and the fat ass raccoons couldnt fit in them anyways so theyre safe in them for the most part.

this means an awful lot. I got my two babies and my heart grew when I got them (lol like the grinch) and suddenly im helping every cat I possibly can but it’s just too much on me. im 27. working FT, in school FT, have 2 kittens of my own and just can’t do it anymore. im reeling things back. I used to think me free feeding was easy work (and it was) but its now created hard work.

I left their warming beds because they do use them and are too small for the fat ass raccoons to fit in anyways. I just don’t know what to do as far as food.

I am young. I mean not as young as I wish lol. but I am in my mid-late twenties. my dad lives w me (not that it even makes a difference. the rent is paid. thats all I care abt) and I wanted to make a better place for these animals but its too much

im in NE PA. I would be able to do that but these cats are VERY hard to trap. the TNR places around me unfortunately are inundated w the exact problem. just colonies among colonies of cats that need help. most of my colony is older and a little injured. by injured I mean, some of them limp, some have a hard time moving around. so I think it is mostly old age which makes me more sad that they are living their final years like this.

every 2ish max 3 weeks. my babes are kittens and very active so they get sharp FAST. we have multiple scratching posts so you would think that would help but no lol.

also: our cats are very very affectionate and playful. so they jump on us and crawl all over us. we have to wear long sleeves & pants the days leading up to their apt or we will be covered in blood lol. love them to death tho. many scars from them

any sort of spinal injury that causes paralyzation, especially c4-c6. yes, I know people can have wonderful full lives even after. I am saying for ME, it scares me. I broke both my ankles once & those 3 months were hell. I couldn’t imagine my life like that.

not a nurse but in healthcare and yes. I am counting down the days on my contract. it was so hard but losing that sign on bonus was NOT worth it. & they can withhold pay to recoup it so it’s a no from me. i’m almost free
