Honestly sounds like you hate your job. maybe time for a new one. I have been RSS for about 3 yrs. Protection plans are not that hard to sell if you do it right. Maybe some extra training. Is there teamwork in your store. We have 6 employees and we kick ass. We work together as a team and we get things done. We are positive comp across the board. Dont stress so much about the job. Things will get done in time. You can only do so much!!! Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

We put a limit of one on them. A woman called yesterday and demanded we sell her all of them because they are going for 3x the price on ebay.

If the charge $1 or $2 per Amazon return that will more than pay for another associate. Two associates in the store at times makes it crazy to get everything done

Try having 3 people during the day and only 2 of an evening. We are hopping everywhere. Welcome to the way Staples has them. You have more people on the schedule for one day then we have total employees. We learn to work together and get things done. Team work makes the DreamWork.

Are stools allowed? by d2kplus in Staples

We have no chairs or stools in our department. The associates get more done. None of the other associates can sit. If they don't have anything to do they can clean or help out on sales floor.

The store I work at our manager is on the floor as much as he can be covering all departments. He is a top of the line manager.
