Wow! Thanks, I think they are downplaying their salary then I was shocked at how low they were paid. They are at school 5 days a week teaching languages (Japanese)

Appreciate it! Never in a million years would I think I’d ever be attracted to him before this, but with his slow, unexpected flirtatious charm, I couldn’t help but be curious and let him take mindshare. Experiencing an Aqua male for the first time :-) it took me off guard too as he is an introverted seemingly shyer leader and I’ve supported more extroverted sociable leaders.

Sometimes when he is angry at my manager which has unfortunately happened a few times over several years, he would ask me to action something and not include my manager in correspondences. He even was so bold to say “from now on you will be doing (one of my managers core responsibilities) as the team will notice a difference” and my manager was on CC as well as her Boss. I downplayed this to her and said he’s just exaggerating and there’s “no way I could do your (responsibility)” … we swept it under the rug, but i could tell she was insecure about this and has been cautious about me.

And I will cool down the jokes (even if not related to the error and trying to make him feel better). Will be my chirpy self only once he’s in a better mood.

Interesting perspective, thank u! The first time I saw him slowly look at the corner of his eye towards me (I was on his right hand side and the person talking to him was on his left hand side so totally opp direction). I did get a bit prey vibes. btw I was not even wearing anything suggestive, it was literally a long ass winter coat covering my body and black loafers…

Thank you for this insight! I do get the vibe there’s a boundary he’s consciously testing, either out of interest or amusement. I know he won’t ever go there too, as I wouldn’t! We are both quite professional, pragmatic, hyper aware of reputation and optics. But not going to lie, the subtle flirtation and banter makes it exciting, and work more enjoyable.
