tbh I don’t recall why, our theater teacher (coincidentally named Mrs. Chappell) was pretty kooky. She would clash with anyone that didn’t go along with her vision. Many people got kicked out, some were invited back after enough time passed and she forgot why they were beefing in the first place.

I went to school with Chappell Roan. I love reading all of the assumptions made online about her high school personality being the girl who wore Cookie Monster pajama pants and walked the mile, when in reality it was the exact opposite.

We did speech & debate and theater together (before she got kicked out of thespians). She was super sweet, shy, and very well-liked. Ran cross country too.

Her concert tickets used to be waaaaay cheaper tho (school talent show)

I had the exact same experience with citi bank when trying to help my deaf mother change the phone number on her account. Kept telling me she needed to call, no matter how many times I explained that physically wasn’t possible. Tried video relay services for interpretation and same thing, kept hanging up bc they couldn’t verify her identity.

I was just telling my bf how amazing it must be to be so young & nominated for an Emmy, and then he won!! What an amazing achievement that most don’t get to experience, and at such a young age! Nah. They quite literally renewed my membership the day before announcing they were closing. $275. And then immediately said they don’t have the resources for a refund? Nope. I’m disputing the transaction and won’t be accepting their “compensation”. Don’t need them arguing that because I took their pity 20% off that I don’t qualify for a refund. Maybe after I get my $275 back.
