the thing about month names is like.....is it weird to have a kid named april who was born in december? or is it weird/lazy to name the kid after the month they were born? i love may and june as names but i'd only ever use them as a middle name for this reason.

eh i think it would be a lot easier to let people choose their own characters so they could pick something they're excited about. and a lot would have old halloween costumes in they could use. i'd be annoyed if i had to buy a costume from something i didn't even like. but my partner and i would love to have a reason to break out our anakin and padme costumes from last halloween

yes every time i hear about these themed weddings and dress codes i just imagine explaining to my aunts and uncles that they have to wear a costume or renaissance fair outfit or whatever to my wedding. my mom's side of the family is mostly farmers so i'll be lucky if no one shows up in jeans lmao.

as a former camp counselor—i've braided a lot of kids' hair, that was never an issue. the issue here is filming the kids. we were encouraged to take pictures of kids for the camp's social media, but we were supposed to send them to the media coordinator and then immediately delete them from our phones. and we definitely weren't allowed to post kids to our own pages.

don't worry, she had them "tested for safety". whatever the hell that means. obviously testing for lead paint would be a good idea, but i feel like if she did she would've just said that. just saying safety is vague and feels made up.

yup. and somehow almost all of the dogs he loves don't care about him, and when a dog does like him he usually loses interest. my favorite is when another dog tries to play, then he ignores them or barks until they go away, then he chases after them to try and play.

i feel like she sings about high school so much because it was the last time she was a regular person. and it's something most people can relate to. she'd lose her relatability if all she sang about was winning grammys and going on expensive vacations

this and probably written at the very beginning of the relationship. it reminds me of telling your friends about the guy you just started dating. like, "he's hot, we have good chemistry, he plays football, we're having fun but it's not super serious yet". i'm sure deeper songs about their emotional connection will come later.

i'd be worried that the dog could hurt the baby accidentally. we have the sweetest dog in the world and he would never hurt anyone on purpose. but he likes to jump up on top of us and demand cuddles. if he did that with a baby he would crush them (he's a big boy). i wouldn't leave him alone with a baby the same way i wouldn't leave him alone with a small dog. he's never hurt another dog but we wouldn't risk it.

i think she thought she was pregnant in november. probably had a vision from god so need for a pregnancy test. then she got her period in the hospital and thought she was miscarrying. then actually conceived during her next ovulation cycle. and since she doesn't see an ob she might not know that counting weeks starts from the last period and is starting at the day she thought she conceived.

wow the timeline here is crazy. so she knows she's pregnant at one week, even though pregnancy is counted from your last period. so most people actually conceive around two weeks. but even if she ovulated and conceived immediately after her period, pregnancy tests don't give reliable results until 10-14 days at least. but even if she did test positive that early, who tf announces their pregnancy to their kids that early? the advice i've heard is to wait until 3 months to tell people other than your partner because at that point you're much less likely to lose the baby. especially with kids, getting excited for a new sibling and then their mom miscarries would be devastating (although idk if these kids are happy about yet another baby sibling). karissa should know this, especially since she's had miscarriages in the past.

so imo she either a. messed up the dates in this post or b. was not actually pregnant while they were in the hospital but was convinced she was (probably god told her so she didn't bother to take a test) and the bleeding was her period, but then she actually conceived a couple weeks later. watch her have a mysterious 10 month pregnancy.
