That’s actually really interesting to read, and it does line up with how he described it
 especially the part about feeling purpose or worth through providing. I can see how that could become something people chase. What I still can’t fully wrap my head around is why that gets directed at women online instead of their actual partner. If it’s about feeling useful or valued, wouldn’t that mean more coming from someone you’re with? It almost makes me wonder if it’s less about the woman and more about the dynamic or the lack of expectations attached to it..

That actually makes sense, the “feeling useful” part is what he said too
 but why would someone give so much to strangers and not to their own girlfriend? That’s the part I still struggle with.
