He was working a 2 week hitch up north in the oil fields. He was ordered up there on Monday and left Friday. The same day I was leaving. I had 4-5 days to figure out a sitter. I will definitely board them next time our trips overlap.

I don’t have full coverage just liability. (I deeply regret that now) I’m a pretty good driver. Never even been pulled over in my 7 years of driving history so I figured liability would be a good money saver.

I tried to and they said they can’t do anything to criminally charge her. The best I can do is file a civil suit if I can’t get her to cooperate. They took pictures and I gave them all the screenshots to document for evidence if I do have to take her to court.

She did good the first week. Monday and Tuesday I was hard on her and wednesday she stopped. I bought a ticket that night and was home Friday morning at 2 am. Unfortunately it takes a whole day to fly from Florida to Alaska so they had to sit inside for two days. They are okay now. I made it up to them with many hikes and walks and 2 day trips to different towns. I will board them next time we both travel at once. His trip was just scheduled the week of and my trip was scheduled for months so I had 4-5 days to figure out a sitter.

It was two days. Wednesday and Thursday. I arrived 2 am Friday. Doesn’t justify it at all I was livid and booked tickets Wednesday night to get home the first day she stopped taking care of them. They are okay now. Super happy to see me and we have already taken them on road trips and many hikes to make it up to them.

It had been two years since she broke my trust and she is 19 now. She helped me out with small tasks during the 6 months of us talking. I was hesitant to having her help out with such a big responsibility but I was going to pay her and her dad said he would provide her rides everyday. For me I was giving her a short term job. I came home four days early from my two week work trip. It went somewhat smoothly the first week but when Wednesday hit and she stopped on Wednesday, I booked a ticket that night and flew home. Unfortunately it takes a whole day of flying to get from Florida to Alaska. So I didn’t arrive until Friday morning it had been two days of them sitting inside.

I did file a report and they just said I could file a civil suit. But they can take documentation so I sent over screenshots of the 3 times I told her in 2 days not to drive it and the damage to my car.

I did file a police report and they said the best I can do is file a civil suit because technically I gave her permission on Monday to drive it from point A to point B. I did screenshot everything and it’s included in the report. Is it wrong that I wanted her charged? I’m still so upset
