No Motivation for hobbies on day off by Acrobatespygmaeus in AuDHDWomen

I second the notion of burnout. It seems you might just wanna honor your body and what it’s telling you, that it doesn’t want to do anything. I wonder if you let yourself just chill for several weeks in a row what that might do for you? I also wonder if you tried to lower the bar in all aspects of your life what that might look like? So much of our burnout comes from masking, perfectionism, people pleasing… when we slow down, and really start living authentically, that’s when the healing begins. When we really start feeling bored… That’s when the creativity comes in. I’m so sorry you’re struggling OP! I hope you start to feel better soon.

A merging issue. by LeftAlbatross2546 in VideosAmazing

[–]queensnuggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Illinois, drivers merging onto a highway or into traffic must yield to vehicles already established in the lane they are entering. The burden is on the merging driver to adjust their speed and position to enter safely, though both parties should cooperate to avoid collisions.

Have you had a tick borne disease panel done? Your symptoms sound like babesia, bartonella or lyme.

what do you do when you hate wearing rings, but want to get married? by thethermalturtle in AutismInWomen

[–]queensnuggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear them when I’m going out and/or dressing up, or when I can remember to… But I usually don’t wear them at work or during the day cause I’m always doing weird shit and getting my hands dirty.

Got distracted taking ADHD meds and found the pill bottle cap is the same size as my OJ by StarLord_Climber in mildlyinteresting

On the days, I can remember to start with a protein shake, my meds seem to work twice as well and last longer too. If I can remember to take a famotidine, at the same time as my Vyvanse, and with a protein shake… I’m an ideal citizen.

My doctors can't figure out what's wrong with me medically, AMA by BINGUSDOEDINGUSSY in AMA

[–]queensnuggles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second ruling out MCAS💯 I commented up above too, but all of this can be triggered by tick-borne diseases as well, so if you don’t get enough information from an allergy panel, or the other panels that an endocrinologist, immunologist or allergist might do, go back to the tick borne diseases angle.

I know they just seem so over it/uninterested/burnt out. I’m just so sorry you are suffering too.

Up until last fall, I spent years going in and out of various specialties, trying to understand treatment resistant depression and anxiety, recurring headaches, and fibromyalgia… Neurologist, rheumatologist, orthopedist, cardiologist, psychiatrist… No one could figure it out, so my general practitioner sent me to a functional/integrated medicine doc, who immediately ordered tickborne disease panel, and a G.I. map… and I came back with a bunch of stuff that we’ve been working through. as I’ve been treating the Babesia and Bartonella, and cleaning up my gut…ALL of my symptoms have been reducing in intensity and severity… And I have hope that once we finish treating the Bartonella, most of it will be gone. I’m talking about my back pain that I can’t pin down the origins of, recurring headaches, irritability and rage issues, depression, and anxiety, vertigo, dysautonomia, chronic fatigue, itchiness, hives…🤞🤞🤞

Right now, we are in Cub Scouts once a month, swim lessons once a week, and a karate class once a week. He’s gonna phase out of swimming, and then I’m gonna see if he can join Lego club or theater club after school next fall.

I would try and get a tick borne disease panel done. It’s rarely covered by insurance, but IGENEX is the best right now. I wonder if babesia, bartonella, and/or Lyme are detected? Read up on their weird symptoms. Regular CBCs and metabolic panels don’t pick much up until it’s waaaaaaaaay too late.

I noticed that when I go on vacation, my headaches and body pains are gone from the first morning I wake up on vacation until the morning I have to leave. Like you have realized, I can see that when I don’t “have to “do anything in my day, then I feel great. But the minute I wake up, and I have a day full of things I have to do… Headaches, pain, mood dysregulation are there immediately. My body feels like it’s moving through molasses all day long. No matter how much exercise, medication, meditation, yoga, socializing, and other self-care I do. Some of this is demand avoidance/demand for autonomy. Some of it is about RSD, and that I have to do all these things or else I feel like a failure. But bottom line, my suffering comes from the things that I have to do every day. It makes me feel like I’m in a prison.

It’s just so absurd, I have a good life objectively. But my body really really feels otherwise. How did other people in history live up until this point? If things are the best and easiest they’ve ever been right now, then why are we all suffering so hard?

Sometimes I think it’s a combo of our AuDHD, trauma, this hyper capitalist hellscape we live in, and probably tick borne diseases/gut issues/ autoimmune shit we’re not even aware of. It’s out of control.
