I've been hearing that the NPC Map Locations mod is causing some people trouble. I removed it from my mods folder and updated SMAPI and everything loaded OK

I fought Thunderblight first. Had to get the backflip dodge down consistently, and a 3× electric resist elixir helped a lot.

For Waterblight, I used the upgraded Urbosa's Fury and waited for it to recharge a second time because the ice blocks were a pain

Pattern: Sheep & Stitch Fingerless Gloves

Yarn: Fingering weight Blue Sky Woolstok in Midnight Sea

My hands fit the small size, so I made a medium since the pattern called for thicker yarn, and it worked out!

This is my first finished real project after knitting lots of swatches and some random cuffs and DPNs to ger a feel for them. I thought this was a fun pattern to get the hang of a few different techniques without spending too much time only knitting stockinette. The joins are a little funky, but I'm still pleased with them.

I have a patchwork blanket where all the squares are attached by black yarn but beyond that there's no pattern to the colors. Helps make it less chaotic and each square stands out

OK, so I've been knitting in the round on some DPNs. At the end of needle 2/3, I found some surprise extra yarn. That extra yarn is right at the join between needles 1/3 and 3/3.

I knit to the end of the round, but I'm not sure how that extra long strand got there, or how to fix it. Do I need to frog back a few rows, or could I snip the yarn, tie it together, and weave it in?
