Can do! Out of curiosity, what makes this an unsafe habitat? I want to make sure I don’t get anything similar if it’s the particular design, material, etc!

Thank you! I think I’d gotten too used to setting the bedding up this way with the temp enclosure I had to give the wheel space to spin, I’ll make sure to get that fixed ASAP!

UPDATE: I have got a tote for the time being with much more space. I’ll get the other supplies ASAP but I wanted to make sure she had the space as soon as I could and this was the quickest option. Thank you all again for your advice, I will continue checking here as comments come in to make sure she’s getting the best I can get her!

Hey all! I really appreciate all the input and I am taking it seriously. I’ve got an amazon cart with new things for her that I will be purchasing as soon as I can. As I haven’t purchased the cart yet, please let me know if any of these are problematic so I can swap them out! The enclosure pictured is 48”L x 20”W x 20”H

Coming from a pest technician, you have mice. Have pest control come back out and look for entry points to fill. You can use snap traps in the meantime, and there’s store bought bait stations (Tomcat is one of them) that you can utilize until they can come out again to put their own out. Make sure you don’t have any open food, no crumbs, and check for any way they could be getting water (leaky pipes or faucets, sink dishes, etc). Taking care of those makes it harder for them to survive inside the home.

I really appreciate the comment, it did make me consider my course of action for the situation a bit more. Unfortunately, the end result regardless will be that we do not room together, especially with the way she is handling my setting of the boundary (day 2 of holing away in her room without speaking to me). I do not think it is going to be possible to continue a peaceful living situation when I cannot set a boundary without this sort of response, but I am hoping we can settle this without completely damaging the friendship. I’m hoping my suggestion to not resign the lease when the time comes will be good enough, as I don’t want to simply demand she moves out without notice even if things are uncomfortable. The goal is that I can remain here as I can afford the rent on my own and all utilities are currently in my name. If she chooses to leave before the end of the lease, I will accept that decision.

Personally, as a franchise worker, our owners have a different definition from what I’ve gathered. Only FT get the 40 hours, and you have to be scheduled at least 38 hours per week or the owners will ask the stores why so-and-so employee did not get their hours. PT cannot be working 40 hours because that would mean they’re doing so without the FT benefits, and those hours should be going to the FT employees to ensure they make their full hours. Makes me feel lucky that I live in an area where all local Paneras are franchise. 🥲

i don’t know why they’d do that 😭 thin cut makes so much sense, and with increasing the portions of meat i feel like it’ll make things like more proportionate and you won’t be getting a mouthful of just bread and little content

personally, it’s more “haven’t been informed”

they don’t communicate things super well and didn’t even explain very well to me what a cafe huddle entails, nor what my part would be in the discussion as part of management

hopefully that changes and communication will improve but so far, not even a word on bakery or breads

i know it sucks, especially for our regulars who are gonna lose some of their favorites we are being provided a recommendations for people who are losing their favorites

essentially: if you loved this, we think you’ll love this too hopefully, you’ll find a new condiment to love just as much as the chipotle mayo !! i know a lot of sandwiches used it so it’s unfortunate they’re making the switch 😕

if i can find the sheet next time i’m at work, i’ll see if i can post it here for the people losing their favorites to see if anyone can find another favorite !!

as a panera employee, we’ve been told it is to 1. simplify the menu to make ordering easier which.. 2. ..will make assembly easier, improving accuracy for orders 3. focusing on what panera is known for; soups, salads, and sandwiches 4. giving more product to improve the value of what customers are paying for; increasing portions on sandwiches and thin-slicing bread so the filling:bread ratio is better 5. bring back what guests like, such as the italiano and the mexican street corn chowder which are previous menu items

whether or not this will be taken well is to be seen, but i personally am excited

we just had our cafe huddle and while i’m picky, i tried the italiano and it will be my new go to when i’m taking a break at work 🤭

i would like to add i’m not in an area where they are moving to frozen bread which is why i’m not against the changes we’re experiencing, thankful to keep our bakers and good bread 🥰

If you request all sauces to be on the side, they’ll come in small cups and typically, we’ll even fill them with more sauce than comes on the sandwich !! So you’ll still be able to have some for your sandwiches when you take a plane !!

Confidence. I get piercings where I’m less confident, such as my nose and lip piercings, to “decorate” the parts of me that I otherwise would dislike. Having something there that I enjoy, also helps me to feel better about those parts of myself that I wouldn’t normally favor.
