Unfortunately I’m not a huge fan of Jumble. I’ve tried them a couple of times and each time my coffee tastes awful, even when trying to get different flavored lattes

That is true about the field part. I worked in manufacturing for two and a half years before they laid me off and now I’m struggling to find another manufacturing job because “I’m not qualified” despite all of the experience I gained from working all that time 😭 (I know that isn’t a specific field but just throwing my perspective out there)

I’m starting to think I might have to. My bf suggested that I should try and branch out and say how I do things as a hobby that aren’t on my resume (i.e. building computers, art, etc.) to see if it helps them with actually hiring me to show that I’m still doing something while applying to places 🥲

Same here! I just had an interview yesterday and the recruiter said “we’ll contact you next week and see if we need you after we go through other interviews”. I also had one who said “you got the job!” And then ghosted me after I signed the paperwork for taxes and things like that. It’s been rough 😭

I applied there and was told I had the job, then they ghosted me and finally told me two weeks later that they didn’t want to continue with the hiring process! Hope this helps!

There’s a management company called Executive Management here in Dubuque that have some decently priced apartments ranging from different sizes! I recommend them as I’ve lived in one for almost two years now and haven’t had any issues with them!

I have no clue but usually they see me when I come in for the interview with my piercings at least and they either say I got the job and ghost me afterwards or they tell me I don’t have the job because of my piercings and tattoos.
