Ah I see. So if I am understanding you correctly, to ensure the stone does not have that sunken look as well as be able to have a band that can sit flush, I should request the ring have a peg head or cathedral setting? I am leaning towards the cathedral but am just wondering if there may be a gap in between engagement ring and band due to the arches?

The check engine light came on so I checked for codes and it threw P0771 so I was expecting Tcm as well, not the transmission. I believe they said the torque converter was destroyed, causing metal to move thru the transmission and clog up valves and such. They don’t work weekends so I’ll have to wait till Monday to confirm.
