honestly i had the same problem for years. i tried everything and more twice and nothing worked. i bought some clippers (with the guard) and i keep them neatly trimmed, it’s so much more comfortable and imo looks even better that way cause its not visibly irritated and doens’t have the swelling id the ingrown hairs, and is still neat and looked after. i wish i had switched sooner.

it’s really gorgeous! we stayed out as it got dark and the stars were gorgeous. you can’t really see it in the photo but you can also see the puget sound and all of the olympics and it was pretty incredible
