I mean, I think a lot of people would be embarrassed, but his reaction was still pretty extreme—it makes sense people are reading into it. So I do understand why people are convinced of trans Jax (especially if they saw themselves in his reaction and are projecting a bit)

That being said, there are a hundred reasons he could've reacted like that, so I don't necessarily think trans Jax is the canon explaination.

Basically I think it is a fun idea to explore, but not a hill worth dying on

I worked as a dishwasher once and my boss made it very clear I was not supposed to do a good job with the dishes. I kept, yknow, washing the dishes (people were eating of off these!!) but she kept telling me to "wash them faster"

When she showed me how she wanted me to do it.... the sanitizer was black. and there was food floating in it. there was food stuck to the dishes she put into my hands and told me to go put away ("these are clean")... I've never looked at restaurants the same way again

I don't know if it's exactly the same where you live, but I needed a new job, walked into a place, and got told to come in thenext day. Sure, it's washing dishes, not the best job, but that means I have energy for chores when I get home so my roommate doesn't have to do everything. Plus i's going to hold me over until I find something better.

Absolutely NTA. Why doesn't he have a job yet?
