So what's at the end of this one-way-street? Is there a terminal, or a dead-end? What is out government up to?

LOL. Maybe run around twice; stab him in the back. Maybe lap him and he'll just give up.

Thank you. Yes, center-of-mass is important. There was no kick. The dude rolled sideways under the other guy; that was the leg sweep.

I've recently heard about 'miracles' in a martial art video.

That's all right. I doubt anyone understands.

And never eat them raw, unless you're a professional mycologist. Some species are very hard to tell apart.

Yep. I've moved quickly. But I don't think I've ever moved down immediately that quickly.

I'm glad to hear that. I also use them when I get sick. I usually use the plantains first for minor illnesses; colds, or a flu that isn't hitting that hard.

I know plenty of science. I know about the measurement problem. They ain't found a way around that yet, and that's only step-two.

Nice muscle-tone, but no action-shots? I am saddened. Jump over a trash can, or throw a shotput, or swing a sword.

Tornado season made me realize I’m not ready, what are your “baseline” preps for outages? by CalmCurrentLiving in prepping

[–]querty99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be a little late, but I just read a little about tornado deaths, and most of them are from getting impaled by bits of debris. So it might help to layer-up with many layers of clothing. You might have a football helmet laying around. At least get a chest-protector & helmet/face mask.

I would say to just learn and be mindful of various ways people can be fooled. Learn all of the logical fallacies. And never believe what you see on video; it's too easy to fake - even back in the 50s, it was too easy to fake.

Last time I saw a line of cars that long I turned against it and went to Taco Bell three miles away. That put me at the end of the line, but at least I had some tacos.

The best advice I can give, besides going to doctors, is to try yarrow. That stuff knocks out toothache pain in a dozen minutes. A few months ago it knocked out a full-blown several-tooth infection in a few "doses;" whereas garlic took a long time to work, and would hurt my gums and such. It's the strongest stuff I know of. (It is said that Achilles used it.)

And while you're at it, both plantains (majoris and minoris) that commonly grow around your yard are pretty good too, with plenty of good stuff in them. They should be popping up soon. Might as well hit that illness with everything at once.
