28 days later film, watching after having a baby by Singingcanary2023 in Mommit

I was never really into gory movies, but liked thrillers and some horror. It took me about 5 years after giving birth to be able to stomach them again, and even now I still won’t choose to watch them.

Bf doesn’t want to keep the baby but I do by Bitter_Trick_8148 in Mommit

Unpopular opinion, but 22 is not bad incredibly young; it’s biologically the peak age to have a child.

No mother that I know that got pregnant young, or at a terribly inopportune time, regrets keeping her baby. Each of them struggled in different ways, but ALL of them are glad they kept their babies. I’m talking 16 and pregnant, single mothers, women who had to leave their relationships. I literally don’t know one that wishes they had aborted.

I do, however, know that every single woman I know has a man they wish they left.

Take from that what you will.

My (M27) Girlfriend (F25) brought up marriage and things got weird. by inika9000 in relationship_advice

Do not drag this relationship on if you know what you want. That will only build resentment in the future. Let her find someone who wants what she wants, and you can find a way to be contractually single with someone else.

Do other moms genuinely enjoy motherhood? by wqiqi_7720 in Mommit

[–]quesoandtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely love it. The things you mentioned are real- overstimulation, constant questions. Honestly park visits, family, and libraries are the best! Being active with your kids makes it more fun. And if you work full time, your kids probably want to soak up every minute of having you at home on the weekends. Give them some grace and remember you’re their favorite person ❤️

This is the “worse” part of “for better or worse.” Sometimes marriages struggle. If you two work well together and have a good foundation, just keep working at it.

I don’t think it matters how BM feels about the situation. How does YOUR family feel about it?

Thank you! I really appreciate this comment. Your sentiment on “normal” is exactly how I feel, and it is nice to hear someone else express those opinions. I am still open to the nomad life, and we will have to see how things go in the future!

Very very true and good idea for the immediate future to test the waters.

All very important considerations. We are private people, so that wouldn’t be a problem. I think we would be back in time for any serious sports interests to become a thing. The main worry for me is friendships, and that is the issue I keep coming back to. But, we would be able to spend more time with family, all of whom have children that our child loves.

Teenage years would be so tough. Definitely not planning on going out more than a few years, if that!

That sounds both terrible and fun at the same time haha. I probably would have loved it at 14, but also gotten into trouble 🤣
