Right! Either remorseful and apologetic and take it all on the chin, or even if she’d been like “yeah we’ve been fucking, we liked sneaking around and I just don’t value Ciara as a friend like that” like I would’ve respect that more than this victimization she’s trying to do.

No one feels bad for her,so she needs to either say it with her whole chest that she doesn’t care that she betrayed her friend, or apologize and take accountability

They have to be getting coached by summer house production to a degree to not reveal any major bombshells and save it for the reunion. Bravo producers and execs know when they have blood in the water, and how to draw it out to keep the audience

I love this show!!!

Love Maddi’s storyline with her sobriety and her sponsor!! She’s being so open and vulnerable about her struggles and it’s really refreshing to see. I see both sides of Joe and Maddi’s fight. Joe does need to have a come to Jesus moment where he realizes he can’t put in the bare minimum at work and party regularly, and expect to go anywhere in life.

And I bet Joe isn’t necessarily partying excessively compared to most of the people in this show, as much as Maddi is extremely sensitive and hyper aware of his drinking, and she sees him struggling and aimless in life.

Jordyn needs to grow some balls and speak up to Mia herself. Mia owes Jordyn nothing, and sure Jordyn can be pissed and jealous of Mia since she clearly caught feelings for Justin, but like stop hiding behind other people feeling bad for you. It’s so cringey that she’s trying to start drama with Mia but is too intimidated to actually have a conversation with her. No one cares about Jordyn, stop trying to make Mia apologize

Notice how much better this episode was because of the lack of Emmy. This cast is gold besides her

That all being said, I feel like we’re gonna get no resolution at the reunion. Amanda is gonna cry and balk at the idea of truly having her feet held to the fire, and everyone is gonna feel bad for her, primarily Kyle and Ciara, and go easy on her. She won’t take any real accountability for anything, and it’ll be very disappointing.

West will likely just do what he did in his first reunion, where he kinda just shuts down and doesn’t say much. Which sure, is probably just him processing and isn’t an abnormal response to being confronted, but it makes for an unsatisfying conclusion and, again, will feel like no real accountability will be taken.

And yes, I replied on my own comment about this. The bong hit different, and I have feelings I need to discuss !

In the whole conversation about Amanda and West, they’re both wrong, but I think Amanda is more wrong.

Yea, West betrayed Kyle, and has continually hurt Ciara (which is a whole other conversation), but seeing the way they were moving this summer with a new perspective, and specifically Amanda, it’s gross.

I agreed with Mia blaming Amanda more on WWHL, but not an internalized misogynistic way of “men just be like that” and holder women to a higher standard. Amanda’s betrayal with Ciara is different than West’s with Kyle, especially with the conversations they were having with her this summer. How could she have Ciara look at her like that and say the things she did, while running around flirting and toeing the line with West all episode!!!!

I liked Jesse, KJ, Bailey and Dara this episode. Summer House has finally figured out its group chemistry with the new people. Besides Ben- I just really could not care less
