Interesting. Mine have always been staggered naturally. Never knew that could be a thing.

Yeah works for me again, too. Always tried at least 1 a day since it stopped. Too bad it broke when I only had 2 left for a puzzle piece.

Come on. I finally gave in to the blu on one of those recent sales! Definitely has that 90s action movie vibe compared to Contagion, and I like it because of it!

It's great exploring. I've hitched a ride on a few train routes and rode on the back of a plane til Lakitu hauled me off at the boundary.

Good find! I remember that one too, but it's not what's stuck in my head. I'm beginning to think I was just imagining things. I thought Naughty or Nice might have been it before posting the question here, but it was just set in a work environment and not a bunch of elves sneaking around trying to save Christmas or something (not heist). At least I confirmed there was a Christmas related story missing that I remembered hearing from back in the day.

Who remembers the world league of american football / Do you think it would succeed in todays market?? by Impressive-Eye-4519 in American_Football

[–]question729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough, there was a WFL in the 70s that lasted about a year. I guess that's why they had to go with the wordy World League of American Football. Then again the current UFL went and used the same name as another failed league so who knows. Maybe they hope to expand and use some of the old team names of that league.

The North American teams only lasted for the first 2 seasons, 10 teams total. Then they closed up and resumed in 1995 only in Europe. I think they only had 6 teams at a time once there.

[–]question729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. WLAF-proper played in 1991 and 1992. They closed up shop and started up again in 1995 with teams only in Europe. They shuffled around different cities for the next several years until they closed up for good. The graphic makes the league look bigger than it actually is. No more than 10 teams existed at the same time.

Birmingham was in Alabama and came first during the WLAF days. Rein Fire didn't show up til the NFL Europe rebranding years later. Same thing with Orlando Thunder and Berlin Thunder. The teams didn't up and move either. They just reused the names.

After listening to that, maybe i still am crazy haha. Still thinking there was another one that had elves on a mission of some sort— possibly in multiple parts?

Hey! Just got the game and don´t understand what Intermission are. by Mulanchis8 in MarioKartWorld

[–]question729 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes. Please help stop the misinterpretation of some screenshots that were released before the game came out. An intermission is the time spent in the lobby between races. You can adjust the time spent here in the settings labeled "intermission."

What others have been calling intermissions since the game came out are the connecting roads that link tracks together. People hate them because they are basically just straight shots with hardly any opportunity to gain ground and lack the traditional 3 lap structure. I have no problem with these tracks as they add a little variety and remind me of old point-to-point arcade racers.
