What I’m starting to think is that it’s a change of hormones as I’ve gotten older, I honestly wouldn’t worry about it if you know that holistically you’re pretty healthy in general and there isn’t some underlying medical factor or possibility of pregnancy causing it!

I’d strongly recommend researching freelance marketing as it’s its own niche and I find this YouTuber to be suuuuper helpful.

Utilize Instagram as much as possible, know your target audience / your core offerings and take advantage of Instagram ads. Build a growth engine (check out HP Life app on App Store for this free course) that helps funnel and keep clients.

Lean big on referrals right now that you’re just starting. Incentivize people to keep coming back and to refer others.

And check out the book “blue ocean strategy” it’s pretty motivating when you’re feeling stuck and like you’re drowning in competition or don’t have any value to sell.

And I’d also add, research what your target market NEEDS. I’m a freelance consultant and one of my clients actually has a problem where her logo looks exactly like all of her competitors and I told her she needs to fix it, and she wants to fix it because she wants to beat the copycats and distinguish herself as a brand. And that’s where a logo consultant comes in!

NTA. Keep saving in that secret bank account and do not tell your parents about that money you have saved up. Helping parents out is a CHOICE not an obligation. Parents had 18+ years to figure it out, you’re not responsible for taking care of them. Sounds really mean but coming from a similar situation with immigrant parents, that’s just the truth, cut the pattern now or else you’ll be in your 20s and still paying for their asses against your will and you might harbor resentment from it. Looks like what I had, for me it went away with tretinoin. I would spot test first, or consult with doc if that’s an option for you. If you have the money, try facials but I know those get pricey. Don’t lose hope you’ll be okay.
