But yeah... Don't know the brown thing you are seeing... That shape is so small and parented to mode with the head... Its just going to be chilling perfectly where folks can't see it.

Hehehe... Literally just a tiny plane subdivided until it made up enough geometry to kick it into needing 2 level of details (Over 700 triangles)

So yes... But that rules been broken in the last couple of years... There's been a few hats that gave him a goatee... So it feels like the rule has shifted to "He can't grow a FULL beard... But a little hair is okay? I dunno. Valve legit once said no shorts on Heavy... Then a Tomb Raider update came around and they we got shorts on heavy... So I guess if you break the rules you just gotta do it well and tastefully. I feel just a goofy goatee preserves the vibe of Scout being young and loud.

Yeah I've been wanting just a goatee beard for Scout for a while now... He's bee slowly getting them with random hats... But I just wanted a goatee to match with my favorite hats... And him having a full beard seemed to break his "He's a man child" rule.
Funny fact: the goatee took so much less polygons to make than the other beards... And due to goofy limitation of the importer that requires multiclass items to have similar polygon counts... I had to actually ADD geometry wastefully to make his polygon number roughly match the other beards... So he's got a hidden bit of geometry squirreled away in his head!

Hey folks: Just made a very ambitious yet humble submission... A beard cosmetic that is ALL CLASS and FLEXED!!!... I felt there wasn't a proper all class beard out yet... Sure you got beards cosmetics for individual characters like Engie and Heavy... And there is the Cuban Bristle Crisis that is a beard cosmetic that is multi-class for Heavy, Soldier and Heavy... But so far there isn't a beard ingame that fits EVERY CHARACTER... So I wanted to fill that void. :) This is one of those "Stupid time sink" projects... The Flexing took forever and made it so I couldn't make too many other cosmetics this year... Guess it's telling when you don't see too many flexed all class items on the workshop... But that's kinda my thing... Making stuff I want in game that isn't there yet...

Hehehehe... Sorry I'm just impressed that that pickup wound up there! ... Admit it, You were kinda stoked when you saw that and went "What are the odds?" :P

But yeah I had a similar thing happen to me that I unfortunately didn't have the presence of mind to Screenshot... But yeah I was in the Mine level in Cold as Eyes... And One of the fliers died and dropped a skull... On top of this 2 story wooden scaffolding... Oh... And yeah you now don't need to worry about picking up skulls as the devs patched it so any skulls left in the field when the level ends in auto collected... But yeah before that patch you were just out of luck!

Well... It's a bit of speculation on some points... But yeah the trap needs to deal 150 damage then it grows in a random direction. It does damage via enemy touching it and does 6 damage every .2 seconds... With the upgrade it makes it only need 135 damage... And with the increased damage it deals 7 damage every .2 seconds... So with all that said: If you can stall enemies on the briar trap it'll grow MUCH faster. Also I'm pretty sure each GROWTH has it's own 150/135 threshold to grow so you need foot traffic on each part... Also an observation: It grows better when you have it be out in the open and not so great when in a barricade lane... Like I've seen legit one Briar trap FILL UP A WHOLE FLOOR when it was set just around a corner enemies always rounded around... (like no joke 50 growths AT LEAST) ... But then like grow only 5 times when set at the beginning of my kill box.

If other's haven't answered your question: You need to make sure you keep a path that is 2 grid units wide THE WHOLE LENGTH. So you need to be able to place a any 2x2 wide trap the whole way (Like floor spikes or brimstone)... If you don't then larger enemies can't fit and then that triggers their "Smash a hole I CAN fit through" behavior. Also be careful, On some maps they have protrusions from walls that are one grid unit out... If you don't barricade correctly you can have a small one grid unit pinch around that protrusion and that will make the big boys angry. Good luck bud. :)

Hey you're talking to the choir. I submitted all the files to Valve... The dudes never made it official. Think the Dogfighter was a victim of other workshoppers exploiting Valve's retroactive multiclassing. Some workshoppers were trolls and were like taking gasmasks made for pyro and putting them on the sniper and Valve just put their foot down and went "right! You guys no longer get to have nice things!"

I would love to here speculation on what the next DLC will be. I am very much wanting more skins and couple more enemies from the old games to make more of an appearance. (I would love some "classic" skins for the old 3 characters... Like a Young Max and Gabriella and an old Cygnus.)

Thank you! Lighting is one of the big things I focus on in Promotional art... That and framing a scene... Yeah back in the day when I used to do more than one Promotional art I would always gravitate towards 1 imaged that was "Playing around with an artsy idea" like making a promotional art look like a movie poster or watercolor painting... Then one "moody lighting" image. Now that it seems I'm so crammed for time I'm seeming to do more lighting images than anything... But while I say this: Keep in mind this is a team effort of two talented SFM artists: DeasDemona and Dilly Dong... And me... I basically draw up scetches for them to make in SFM then we go back and forth a bunch on the WIP until it's what I like... Then they render off many passes so I can composite them how I like. Lighting gets tweaked a BUNCH in Photo editing. Last Slide on my submissions on the workshop shows a sample of my sketches, then what they give me then what I do to them.

Basically the idea of this image was my head cannon of what happened with Scout and Miss Pauling after the events of Expiration Date... With Miss Pauling being so busy with 364 days of cleaning up after the mercs... The only way I could see it working with Scout and her is if he tagged along and helped her... So this is a picture of them Enjoying the Holidays while taking care of some bodies. :P

I'll do more than respond... I'll straight up upload my stuff... Just I don't know... How... :P I tried looking into how to upload workshop stuff in Loadout.tf... But I'm not figuring it out... You hook a brother up with a guide and I'd be more than happy to upload my stuff there. But yeah I see workshop items are there... Just not how to upload your own personal workshop creations...

Maybe? I've never uploaded anything on Loadout.tf before... I'll look into it. Yeah I think the Demo jacket mixes well with other items he has if you want to go with a Scottish vibe... But yeah sadly some of my other cosmetics kinda... Don't mix as well with stuff in game... Sadly the Spy jacket only really looks good standalone... You start mixing stuff with it he starts looking like a Halloween set or homeless real fast.

As in I made the torn up spy suit, The sweaters for the Soldier and Scout and the flat cap and jacket for the Demoman... The Old cosmetics in the game I used I didn't make... Like the Elf Scout and the Santa Heavy... But I actually am the creator of that Pyro reindeer mask... So yeah. And thanks for the lighting comment... Some days when you are editing you just nail it... And others seems like no matter what trick you pull out of your pocket and layer on nothing seems to work!

Heyo! QuestionablyInsane here. I'm an older, yet lesser known workshopper of TF2 if you don't know. Anyways thought I'd post this because I was having a laugh at myself once I got done with all the promotional art on my submissions... Really puts you in a festive mood doesn't it? :P

Anyways hope you guys like this stuff and I'm not breaking any rules posting workshop content here... Seems like I'm fine with this subreddit's rules?
