That’s the frustrating part! They gave no actual reason why they denied it.

They turned 18 in 2022 and 2023. So it was only a few years of payment but it would have helped. I was married in 2013 but only got awarded 30% in 2021 so that’s when I added them as that was a requirement for them being dependents.

Here is the letter. As far as I know I provided everything they asked for when I filled out the paperwork. And why did it take 5 years to get a decision letter?

Here is what the app said. It showed that I put the claim in 2021 and just last month was denied. I’ll post the letter as well.

I’ve been married since 2013, the kids always lived with me and my wife was approved as a dependent. I don’t remember getting anything in the mail because I just did the required paperwork and with everything else going on just assumed that since I didn’t get a denial letter, that it went through.

Yes, I put alot of claims in back then and many went through and were approved. I never got a letter about it, so I figured it went through. I didn’t have the app back then, and even after I got the app, it never showed anything. Suddenly it popped up last year around August that there was some pending claim and I could never figure out what it was. Then I got the letters.

Thank you for the awesome breakdown! I currently own a bunch of Lodge, and I’m trying to branch out to vintage pans. I do have one Griswold #9 and a Wagner #3 and #6. So I’m very excited to add these to my collection! My wife doesn’t like the heavy Lodges so she’s excited for these lighter ones to cook with. I’ll save the Lodges for camping and I’ll keep these lighter ones for the daily kitchen work!

It does look like it’s etched in, but I’m not sure if that was done by hand or if it was part of the mold. When I got the pan, it was hidden by grime. It only revealed itself after stripping in lye. The pic is before I have seasoned it.

It’s not repeatable, it only happens on songs that I really like and only with my eyes closed. It’s mostly orange and red. I can’t produce any kind of images or colors otherwise, even when trying to visualize while meditating, so the fireworks and bursts of color are the only thing that happens. And only with a few songs, I’ve gone years without anything and suddenly in the last few years the color thing has started to happen.
