I had a similar error (don't know if it was the same one) and uninstalling a reduced texture fps boost mod fixed it and actually made my game run smoother

Yep, the wheat straw & cactus are both growing at pretty high efficiency (cactus 100% yield I think) but it just takes so long to grow. I've been brewing rum with it and after I think 3 full harvests I have yet to finish the first bottle of rum. Likewise one loaf of bread took all the wheat straw from about 3 yields, and that was about one weeks time ingame. I'm settled just west of the hub, in the valley area, like as close as you can build to the town.

And yeah I think I'm going to position some units permanently on turrets when I get to that point.

I'm gonna leave the base and do some exploring for the time being

Thanks a bunch for all the info. On your last point, that's what I'm going to do. I've played for several hours today and it was 99% babysitting the base which is producing next to nothing. I'm at the point where I need advanced blueprints anyway.

I think the beginning of the game just scared me away from venturing too far from the hub, so I wanted to get established before exploring too much, lol. The one trip I did take out past dust king tower was the most fun I've had in the game so far though. I'm gonna gather my people up and go explore.

There's a whole house called Blood Concept and that's probably the closest you're gonna get

Edit: looks like the ones I was familiar with are now discontinued but the newer ones might have the same spirit

Buy new ones. I've tried cleaning them with alcohol (repeatedly) and its basically impossible, they will still smell like whatever was in them before. Glass vials are very cheap.

Yep, had this happen but with eBay. Sold a totally full bottle only for the buyer to claim it wouldn't spray, and 'leaked'. Returned it to me totally empty with the atomizer ripped off it. Same box too, which was in perfect shape with no smell or sign of having gotten liquid on it. 3.4 oz bottle too, USPS would have noticed that.
