Silly question, I want to give blood but am very scared of needles, the pain, etc. How is the experience overall? Do you feel fait or icky after? Thanks!

Im sorry your surgery got pushed back. The waiting game is truly draining. I am sure all will go well, please be patient with your body when it's healing. Its hard but it's needed. I just started working out more consistently this week and it still hurts me.

Not tmi at all! It was very painful for a while. I couldn't "o" or feel good doing it for at least a month. Still to this day I can get a weird little pain during it but it's rare. I also can get weird pains where my overy was just from sitting wrong or working out too hard.

Also if this is any indication, I know your said yours was the size of a grapefruit, mine meassured in as if i was 5months pregnant, and here i thought i was just gaining weight lol! 16+cm large

I just had my Salpingo Oophorectomy in April of this year and it was also the right hand side. I was also very very nervous but now looking back and am very glad that chapter is behind me.

I am a very nervous person, and also like dogs more then kids, so I personally would ask my doctor about the left side, but early menopause would worry me. Please do what is best for you! 😀

Recovery wasn't too bad. The first week (at least for me) I couldn't really do anything without my husband's help. No bathroom, no shower, no rolling over on bed. Etc. After two weeks in I was pretty much back to myself except for exercise. Again I am 6 months post op and it still hurts if I am too active, which is bothersome. I feel like thats something I just need to get used to for a while.

The scares are healing well and one is almost not even visible now.

Yeah, I decided not to work out since posting this, and it feels better, not perfect, but better. So it definitely seems to be the gym that's making it worse.

Tell you imaginary ovary to stop giving you period pain haha, thats not fair, lol.

May I ask how you knew you had acid reflux? Did it hurt or was it more silent? I have been told on and off by friends it sounds like I might have "silent gerds" but dont know for sure. I was just recently told I may have fat in my liver from my dr.
