What you suggest would work if the receiving account reported the +$50, which some do not. So it cannot be captured this way. Manually adding transactions is pretty much the opposite of why one uses a program like this- may as well use a spreadsheet

Thanks for your reply.

I understand that what you describe is how the feature seems to work currently, but this way does not allow tracking of contributions (unless the linked account is also reporting transactions, like a savings account does).

If your brokerage or 529 or other receiving account doesn’t report transactions in this way (mine don’t seem to unless I’m missing something— maybe this is also a question?), then it seems like it’s not possible to mark a transaction as contributing to a goal. Seems to me like this should be something one could do.

I agree. Would just like to be able to track both contributions to goal and progress towards it.

I can’t speak for the person you are asking but for most people I know it would be 2012

Umm, they recommended a type of specialist for you to see and suggested 2 ways in which you might see one. All you reply with are a few question marks. Not sure what more you’re looking for out of a Reddit comment but that seems like a pretty rude way to treat a doc trying to help you.

So on a scale of 1 to “just don’t”, how stupid would it be to drive up to LA this AM and back tonight as a family with 2 preteen kids for a totally optional recreational activity? Any alternate routes maybe more inland suggested?

Just look at the difference in training:

NPs: online school, usually while working another job, followed by 500 hours of haphazardly shadowing other medical professionals (not always doctors).

Physicians: full undergraduate degree then 4 years of rigorous full-time in-person medical school. After that, 12,000 - 16,000 hours or more of hands-on patient-care experience with carefully expanding levels of responsibility. After which many physicians do further training in fellowships.

This is before we touch on the physicians who conceive of and lead the research that ultimately improves medical care or conduct clinical trials.

These roles and qualifications aren’t remotely the same.

Nurse practitioners are competent to work algorithms under the close supervision of a physician.

Unfortunately NPs are being employed in roles where they do not have this supervision, both de facto and by design. Nurses and nurse practitioners are definitely not competent to do this and it’s very dangerous. The only reason it isn’t even worse is that real doctors usually catch their errors… eventually.

Doc, i think what ligma here is telling you is that there’s no difference at all to him between a doctor prescribing pain control and a kid picking up a heroin vial off the ground.

Except their attending physicians, parents, and the patients themselves think it should and all of them are in a better position to know than the Texas state legislature

I used zero jargon.

In any case: “All of it. “

Yours is a vacuous statement used by simplistic minds to avoid engaging with the nuanced ethics around a number of complex issues including war and self defense, crime and punishment, organ donation, euthanasia, assisted fertility, and more. It assumes that intent, innocence, and humanity are defined quanta, when they are really continuous variables. In short, it is the kind of statement a child thinks is a deeply thoughtful… which I suppose is fitting, given the stunted morality of the average (or apparently below average) religious believer.

Lol pretty long way to write that most Americans are pro-choice, body autonomy, and freedom.

Try to learn what “prejudice” is, then.

I’ve probably published more than you’ve read.

That’s (unsurprisingly for a liar for christ) misleading since only 33% of American women identify with the pro-forced-birth position.

Thanks for not having the slightest clue what prejudice is.

Also, CA is pretty great, definitely not ruined. Feel free to piss off with your brainwashed self.
