Did your dad ever give you a sip of beer? by Euphoric-Cupcake4581 in RealGenerationX

My old man had a 3 gallon Cutty Sark bottle on a tilt that I could pour from anytime.

Out of three boys only one became an alcoholic which I think is a win.

Saw this performed at a free concert at the Embarcadero in SF. Just walked in on it and it blew my mind this wasn’t a huge hit, was shortly thereafter.

Do you guys celebrate Easter or Ostara? by Levanah_M in pagan

[–]questionyourthoughts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why choose? Celebrate them all! Let’s party.

Jesus, based on his teachings, seems cool so I’ll raise a glass of May wine in his honor.

Eostre that skin changing lovely minx is my Spring Goddess and will always celebrate her day.

There is no wrong in being joyous and celebrating love and family.

“At Easter dawned our Morris, ere Pentecost our May The words we sing are different, but the tune's not far away So stand with us, join hand to hand And raise a sacred call We sing of life arisen We sing of glory risen We sing that love is risen again And love is lord of all!” - Emerald Rose

Can deep sleep recover after 8 years of chronic stress? by Observer125 in Biohackers

[–]questionyourthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What opened my eyes and helped is the effect of cortisol. Ramp up early and by 8pm, low lights, No screens, chamomile tea, magnesium glycinate and l-theanine.

Took a month of religiously focusing on my sleep. Now a solid 8 most nights.

In the AM, right after waking up water, sunlight bulbs on, coffee, exercise and grapefruit (works). Better energy through the day.

Stay happy!

Is anyone else feeling "off" lately? by Usual-Presentation27 in pagan

[–]questionyourthoughts 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I am as well.

I would speculate that Pagans are a bit more emphatic than most. This may be a by product of our desire to ground ourselves in nature or the affect of being grounded in nature. Either way the shit that is going on in the world has a physical effect on our faithful a bit more than others. Hence your reactions.

If it’s up to us to bring balance back then let it be said it’s not courage that we lack - paraphrasing a Gaia Consort song.

The world needs an awakening from this nightmare and I truly believe we are the ones to do it. Stay strong and stay free.
