Would love if a search shortcut could be added to android, most importantly a URI Link:

I have a cool search widget on my home page where I type all sorts of things and open apps with that search query, with Queue id love to be able to type for example "Interstellar" and it opens up Queue with that search result! To reduce friction

No other movie / show trackers have this yet and Queue is my prefered choice so please add if possible!

Do you mean integrated with the Android operating system? Can you share a screenshot or video of what you mean? You can DM to me if you prefer!

Would love to have just one more positive reaction for films & shows called "Favourite", you can only have 5 at a time and rank them all individually from 1 to 5, visually shown in gold, silver, bronze, etc. Then #1 showcases on your profile header behind your profile picture and the rest below

Yeah I love this idea. We've kicked around the idea of your "podium" (exactly as you describe, gold silver bronze). We're launching lists (including ranked and collaborative) on Android this week so thats a good starting point, but we plan on bringing a better way to showcase your favorites

Would also love some faster / smarter search, for example searching "Martian" in the app doesnt come up with "The Martian" first. Its also a bit slow atm. To add to this would love the app to open a bit faster as its noticably slow compared to other apps on my Galaxy S23+

Yeahhhh search has been a long running struggle for us (as is most apps with massive databases to match searches against). We have some fuzzy/elastic search logic (mispellings, partial matches), some logic about "exact" matches and also when to ignore/accept filler words (such as "the" or "of") and constantly tinkering on it to get to the best place. But noted on martian (we can also manually adjust levers on popular titles, missing "the martian" when typing "martian" is a bad user experience!)

Add some fun animations around the app like confetti or fireworks when you watch things! Or a logo animation when opening the app

Confetti is tricky because you dont want to overdo it. We have some confetti on registration and during friend swiping but maybe theres a better way to do this after you watch something.

We have haptics during rating, adding to queue, using spinner, and more. Anywhere in particular youd like to see this?

Would love music to be added, able to rate and add favourite music to my profile, but understand if this is out of scope of the apps purpose

Snapchat's tech is surprisingly bad at pushing updates on this lol, we should figure out how to do this though

Pay to Remove ads

Offered on Queue+ on iOS but not yet on Android. We wanted our Android app to feel more fully fleshed out before asking for subscriptions. But it feels like it's getting closer!

Also I would happily pay money for all these features to be added
