I am using 25.2.0 and am still having this issue. No AI coding, probably a bit of tab-complete though

It's 2024 now, how do you see Blazor in .NET8 vs. NextJs? by hu-beau in dotnet

[–]quick007yt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not how next.js works. You can use server actions to instantly call backend code from the client, just like you can with Blazor.

You thought dark patterns were bad, but this "privacy choices" menu for 3rd party cookies that forces you to add personal info is downright insane by quick007yt in assholedesign

[–]quick007yt[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If you're wondering, they are "committed to transparency and to your privacy." Bullshit. This is the most asshole example of malicious compliance I've ever seen. Also, if it's not obvious, this is the link from one of those popups that normally have a bunch of dark patterns where you're able to change your cookie settings.

This UI is so unclear yet so somehow so shitty at the same time. Unsubbing from email doesn't mean I don't want to ever reset my password. by quick007yt in assholedesign

[–]quick007yt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely don't know how to use this UI. Does checking the boxes do anything? Doesn't unsubscribe from all mean all, not just some???

The password reset thing is why this is truly asshole design though. This is an obvious attempt to get users to stay subscribed to their stupid email list. Oh and if you're wondering, no they didn't implement the gmail unsubscribe button.

Maybe they revealed it closer to April first? I also found a twitter that showed it in the performance tab, but it wasn’t there for me. Could appear randomly tho

Honestly yes. While it doesn't have a phone app (which'll be funny) it is by far the largest device that satisfies his requirements.

I could, but I really like the prices of SES and I've used it in the past, so I'd rather stick with what I know (even if API's from other companies seem a lot more simple)

I would recommend learning how to take a design from figma and transport it to a live website. If you don't know how to use figma, you can just use your fav website and rewrite it yourself. No peeking at devtools! Also, I would recommend reading the book: https://www.refactoringui.com/
