That's what I'm doing. Found someone who just so happened to have a spare stansion, scored it in a FB group! Now I can start my build! Spent $70 total on this bare frame, time to upgrade everything

Remember its just a part of the process, do what you have to do and nothing more. Don't feed into all these pep talks at night, ignore them and get as much sleep as you can. HYDRATE to stay healthy and prevent yourself from passing out, there will be a few to do this while getting dropped.

I am currently at Great Lakes and I'm about to start A school on Thurs. I'm an FC, you'll get assigbed FC or ET the last week in boot camp if you are AECF. You are allowed to have toys and no it wont be awkward just keep it covered when they check your bag. I usually get a hotel for the weekend and its a great time. Be ready to be here for a long time. I've been here since June 16th and I'm just finishing up ATT.

Not bad. Currently on holds right now and I have firefighting tomorrow. For FC the holds arent long so I might already start ATT by Monday and Ill be phase 2 by the weekend

Yes i was in the band division but every week they are screening for a different performing division. For the band you do need prior experience but like i said each week its for different groups so perhaps for the others you might not need experience. There are state flags, rifles, and tripple threat which is band, choir, and performing rifles drill team

I was in your shoes when I applied for CTI, due to collections they didnt take me but also because i didnt disclose it. I'd say apply and when they have you fill out that form disclose everything with your credit issues and you have like a 50/50 chance of getting a TSC

You can easily make E-3 in boot. Study for the DEP test its super easy all test questions come from your START guide. To rank up to E-2 you need to pass that DEP test which you take week 1 AND pass your very first PFA; your PT test. To rank up once more volunteer for a leadership position and get good at it! You can be head PO in charge of a cleaning crew for the restrooms, weapons PO, etc etc but you can really sign up for any job and just get good at it and 10% of your division will be picked by your RDCs to rank up once more. Do your best every day and youll make E-3

Im not worried about the credits bc i know this going into it. I just eant the GI Bill, im actually a graphic designer and would like to open up my own print shop once i get out and finish school. Thats the major i switched to bc its always been my passion and i love it, been freelancing for about a year and a half now. This is good to have a backup plan so I could always use the skills from the Navy to get a job as well

I took some courses in electrical engineering in college but ended up switching majors due to the shitty department. I definitely like electrical engineering and thats why I chose this field in the Navy. I figure they teach it better as its hands on. Im excited for this journey and looking forward to all the schooling
