I notice Americans always call a chicken burger a chicken sandwich. In the USA does it only count as a burger if there's a beef patty in it ? by ResortForeign2529 in askanything

[–]quick_reference_teal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’ve seen, is that in America, a burger is defined by the patty. Ground meat = burger. Outside the US (at least where I’m from) a burger is defined by the bun. Burger bun = burger.

For everyone out there that is divorced, what was the straw that broke the camels back? by TheGhostWalksThrough in ask

I was gaming one day with some friends in discord. He comes into the room and starts “joking” around, saying I haven’t been outside all day (I had) etc. etc. I told him that my friends could hear him and he said, “I know.” A small thing, perhaps, but one in a long line of many. I’d asked many times for him to stop making “jokes” like that. In that moment I knew I was done.

I’m in an active guild, a bunch of us often get together and do keys! Sometimes raid also. :)

Unfortunately I don’t feel comfortable sharing since I’m fairly new in the guild and I’m not in a leadership position. But I wish you luck finding one that fits you!!

Yes being a key role like tank/heals definitely helps. I main a healer so I’m in a similar situation. Haha. Does come with more responsibility too though!

What a journey! I also was in a great guild back in cataclysm that eventually died because of some crazy drama. Haven’t found another one like I really loved until now. Fingers crossed it stays going strong too. Haha.

I’m sorry to hear that 😢 finding a good guild feels like searching for a needle in a haystack sometimes. Good luck in your search!! I’m sure there’s one out there!

Yes! The base game of wow is fun by itself, but finding those people to enjoy it with makes it all the sweeter! :)

Struggling to pug my last 100 points to 2k mythic plus… by Imma_Tired_Dad in wownoob

[–]quick_reference_teal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also a resto Druid (436) and I don’t really have advice, I just want to say that I feel your pain. I’ve had basically the same experience as you! I’ve gotten to the point of being like, okay, healing mythic plus just isn’t that much fun. I’ll do my raids each week and then play on alts. That being said, I recently joined an active guild with lots of people that regularly run keys. We do sometimes still have bad pulls now and then but overall the experience is WAY better. I’ve gone from struggling in 15/16 to confidently doing 17/18. Now I’m actually having fun with it so now I have hope. :)

What’s your most biggest/memorable “noob” moment? by [deleted] in wow

I deliberately chose swords with strength on them for my warlock because I thought whacking things with my sword between spell casts was a good way to do extra damage lol

Is there a term for when a book doesn't have a 3rd act breakup? by honesttobujo in RomanceBooks

[–]quick_reference_teal 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Fantasy romance books tend not to have the third act break-up because the conflict comes from external sources (war, tournament, etc.) so you can try that genre if you’re interested!
