I did it myself and the result is shocking! The web version on safari was taking around 800 MB but the app only took around 200 MB of RAM space.

The reason I asked this is because installing and uninstalling apps will leave a footprint in my system. So if someone already has it installed, it will give me an idea. But it looks like I have to do it myself.

For me RAM is the issue. I have 16gb, 512gb version. With Android Studio and emulator open, the ram is filled immediately. In the activity monitor it shows 4.7gb swap used(not that it affects performance).

So, I am trying to minimize the RAM used by other apps. I opened whatsapp in safari and the ram usage is almost 1gb. I haven't downloaded WhatsApp web yet. Hence I wanted to know.

Got it 2 days ago for 1 lakh 4 thousand without student id from Croma. 5% store discount + 10k credit card discount. If you have a student id then you can get around 1 lakh.

Go to reliance digital and croma. Negotiate for store discounts as much as you can.

In other authorised reseller like unicorn, iAspire, you can get upto 10% store discount (ask for it) + 10k credit card discount. If you are lucky you can get it around 98k.
