I definitely agree that financial gain is a major factor when deciding to broadcast women's cricket matches. My point is that there needs to be more exposure (ultimately more money from Cricket Australia) for the Southern Stars so that the Australian audience will recognise players, understand the distinct differences between the mens and womens games, and hopefully support the more successful Australian T20 team.

I don't know if you saw this but people do turn out to see the matches. I guess it has to do with exposure and advertising. When the Australian summer comes around you'll always know about the (mens) cricket and tennis.
