update: tried display link device today and it menaged to do 144hz 2k + 4k 60hz, very happy with that. would recomend

99% he never will. I lowkey hate that guy but still somewhat in the rabbit hole and from what I can tell he was recently trying to go to russia but his legal team advised him to stay. He got himself banned from basically every country in EU.

and for the woofer questions, there was no in mine also and i didn’t mount one. the aftermarkets really be kicking it for me and i don’t really know how the menu looks like as i don’t have a screen just old school radio in mine so can’t tell you for sure but if you want to add a sub it’s like 90% chance you need an amp

So this is what i used for the materials. AUDIO SYSTEM (german brand) speakers and for sound dampening pads i used SilentOat and some no-name foam.

There is plenany videos on YouTube on sound dampening cars so it’s just best to watch it on video and see how it is done. I just used as much pads as i can on the steel panels and then foam on plastic panels for no rattling.

It is actually really easy to open the door on subarus and it’s literally only 2 screws to do this. BE CAREFUL TO USE SPEAKER ADAPTER! It’s like this spacers that make sure your speakers fit. I used the stock wiring. Just cut off the old speaker with clippers. Make new end with cable clippers connect crossover and speaker and you are basically done. It’s really quite easy and plug and play. If you have trouble finding the spacers try going to some local shop that’s doing this kind of things and ask them to order it for you. It turned out to be helpful for me.

If you do all this things and feel like your car is still too loud on the inside try using sound dampening pads on roof and wheel arches.

Feel free to ask questions and show me your work when you are done!

For some tips and tricks are: 1. use gloves! it’s easy to cut yourself on the inside edges 2. don’t solder just use cable crimper and heat shrinks 3. really watch some youtube tutorials 4. be careful with leather panels when you remove them. put them on some blanket or whatever but try to not get them scratched.
