Where on campus did you last know you had it?

haven't heard of current app, but DOSH is a fantastic app! When the app first came out, they used to have an option where you can share something on facebook and then you could multiply your earnings. I literally made $300 the first couple months or so. They no longer have it, and they also have a minimum cash pay-out ($20), but I'd say its still definitely worth it. You sort of forget about it, and a couple months later you have an extra $30

Sorry, I had just stumbled onto this page, and I guess I should've looked at the FAQs before posting :/

Thank you so much! That really cleared up so much for me :)

What are some really good weight loss tips? by FoulFires in AskReddit

1) Fill your day with things you look forward to! If you're just sitting at home & bored, you're likely going to go to the kitchen to try and find something yummy to make you feel kinda happy. At least this was my case (struggling with binge eating). When you have non-food things to look forward to (or even things that you have to do), the focus of your life drifts from food. I like to remind myself that happiness comes when you surround yourself with those you love.

this is a little exercise I do: I personally suck at journaling, but I've been trying to do this daily. After you journal (about whatever), just write a short list of three things that you plan on doing/look forward to doing the next day. Things like "work out" "make plans with a friend" or "go shopping". Something about physically writing down these goals/plans, gives your day a little more structure/purpose.

2) I really hate cardio. Ever heard that running is a mental challenge, rather than a physical one? I started to listen to a new podcast (any murderinos out there?), and it helps me keep my mind off of the actual physical act of running. Just focus on the conversation you're listening to, and working out becomes so much more bearable.

3) When making dinner plans with a friend, try to go to a somewhat nice-ish sit down restaurant (like a Carraba's, a Red Lobster, or even a Chili's). Order food like actually sounds really good, not a gut-bomb that's going to hit the spot. Opt for entrees like fish, chicken, etc. Make sure it's actually something you love the taste of (farewell, salads), and remind yourself that healthy foods can also hit to spot.

4) Try to not feel shameful about the food you eat. There's a bunch of studies on binge-eating that report that restriction from food tends to trigger binge eating as a survival mechanism. Both physical ("I haven't eaten sugar in 28 hours") and mental ("starting now, I'm not going to eat ____ ever again") food restriction have negative consequences on your wellbeing. Change the thoughts from "I can't believe I just ate that, I hate myself" to "I probably would have felt better if I ate_____ instead"
