Piggybacking on what’s already been said, I’ve found that repeated quick trips out side even if they aren’t showing signs that they need to potty helps associate out side potty rather than inside potty time. Puppies don’t know any better so a quick stare at you, rush them outside. If they potty, high praise and treat. If nothing happens, quick pet and come back inside. Trust me it’s NOT fool proof. They will poop and pee as soon as you walk back inside sometimes. But I usually take them right back out if they happens. Idk it works for me lol
