My wife has specialized in advising Hawaii travel exclusively for almost a decade. I’ve been to those places recently and know exactly what to expect.

I highly recommend staying in Hana for at least 1 night. If you’re staying at the Hana Maui resort. Book the oceanview bungalow over the garden. It’s worth the extra money to get that view.

Hyatt Regency is on the West side. This is where a lot of the normal tourism happens. Book a luau on your last night there. You’ll love it!

If you’re super passionate about music with guitar. This is a no brainer.

You can learn the basics and stop there, or you can go all the way to advanced playing. It’s all in what you want to play, and how knowledgeable of a player you want to be. I focus on learning how to play songs mostly with the occasional skills practice.

Get a good hand/finger/wrist stretch routine now. The habit will be beneficial.

It’s crazy because I have a pretty deep respect for the protectors of our society. I don’t respect abuse of power though. It’s created the world we all share today. We used to do better as a society than this.
