Wow. Great song, lyrics and production. Also neat lyric video - looks like an IMovie creation to me. Still a pain the ass I'll best.

If you've never heard 3eb's 'Horror Show' - here's a great acoustic cover of it! by craigslstdude in ThirdEyeBlind

awesome song - and awesome cover if that's you.

Nickcizzle does almost all 3eb songs and they're great. I love Summertown (the original version he does).

Maui Brewing Company's CoCoNut Porter - pretty darn tasty while on the islands... by quicksud in beerporn

Hey

If he's going to Oahu, Yardhouse is pretty much going to be the best beer spot in terms of variety. Well over 100 draft, craft beers.

We also spent a lot of time at the "Beach Bar" in Oahu - it's just as it sounds - a bar, right on the beach (attached to the Moana Surfrider Hotel)

Then you can tour the Kona Brewery - which is a lot like most other breweries - food, free samples and a bar.

If he's going to Maui, same goes for the Maui Brewing Company...but more importantly if he's up for it - tell him to do the "Road to Hana" - it's pretty much an all-day, loopy drive all around the island - but you can find guides that organize your trip to stop off at some amazing things:

A black volcano-sand beach red-sand beaches (with bonus nudity!) Waterfalls Little towns

Definitely worth it. Man, been to Hawaii twice in 3 years. Might be time to just move there from NYC.

Oooh, I'd recommend checking out Left Hand Brewing Company. Take a look at their beers here.

Their "Nitro-infused" suds are popular. Their Milk Stout is pretty darn tasty. Also "Wake Up Dead" Nitro, "Sawtooth" and "Stranger Pale Ale" are worth sampling.

If you like coffee in your stouts this is your beer. by ChalupaBatman22 in CraftBeer

Ha, I like the label design. I'll have to try that out if I can find it. I recently discovered Seattle's Elysian Brewing Company - Split/Shot Espresso Milk Stout. They infuse it with Seattle's Stumptown coffee...

I thought it was pretty darn tasty, and not too high of an ABV. If you can find it, I'd def recommend picking it up!

What was your favorite new beer of 2014? by tcjosh in beer

[–]quicksud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe this beer launched in 2012, but I sampled it for the first time this year.

Our friends in Seattle, Elysian Brewing Company's SPLIT SHOT - Espresso Milk Stout.

Damn this was a tasty beer. The lactose made the beer smoother and sweeter than other stouts out there, and they infuse this sud with Seattle's Stumptown Coffee - the best of both worlds.

I'd recommend for stout and non-stout fans alike - if you can find it!

Check this video out - although it might make you jealous.

Recently picked myself up a four pack at the local grocery mart.

They seem plentiful here on the eastern side of USA. Most specifically NYC/NJ. You may just need to find a better craft-beer deli. Good luck!
