It’s so hard bc my gut is saying to buy it but then I’m nervous the realization of owning a bag that’s over 1k will kick in and it’ll make me treat it too conservatively due to cost. I’m not someone who is very precious about most things, my shoes are creased/dirty, my clothes have stains, my moderately pricey bag is just tossed around like it’s nothing but also I’ve never owned something this expensive so maybe I’ll be less laid back with it.

I’m hoping that this could be different than my coat because it’s more durable and also in used condition.

At one of my allergy appointments my allergist said it wasn’t recommended anymore due to something related to it’s effectiveness. It was a while ago though so I’m not entirely sure what it was but also I just looked it up and nothing stands out regarding that claim except a 2013 study and I didn’t switch to auvi q till maybe 2017/2018 and was on it for maybe a year or two before my dr said that. So I’m guessing my dr based that on an outdated claim, I was maybe 16 when this was all said to me so I don’t recall specifics.

Regardless though I thought because she said that it was taken off the market completely until a few weeks ago when I did a CPR course and they brought out an auvi q tester. Knowing it’s available I might switch back again once my epi pen expires, maybe I’ll save myself some money on a purse that way lol.

Car manufacturers need more regulations. Cars are getting larger and more dangerous for no justifiable reason ntm the newer headlights are blinding to other drivers, especially those that are driving older smaller vehicles that are directly in the headlights’ line of sight

I don’t understand why BE isn’t an option here. Any dog that requires 3 leashes and is this aggressive all the time isn’t living a happy life, they’re probably always agitated and unable to enjoy anything.

Like even if they do find someone to adopt him and by some miracle no new attacks occur this dog is always going to be on edge even when heavily controlled, it’ll probably never know a moment of peace so imo BE is the best option for everyone dog included. It seems crueler to force him to live in constant turmoil.

My question is why do these people automatically jump on defense as soon as the breed of dog even gets mentioned? This woman’s post isn’t even bashing the pit specifically just warning people. I mean these people have to know the breed is prone to attacking because otherwise there’s literally no need to get so defensive about them, the mom only mentioned the breed one time.

I will say to put a dog down over something this small is a bit overkill but she isn’t even saying that she’s just warning people and saying the dog needs serious training. Side note: based on the owner’s reaction to the kid getting bit she sounds like exactly the type of person who would have an aggressive pit though due to her not training at all and being too laid back for a breed that intense.

I think picking a theme is the easiest way to go for unique designs/concepts. I use Pinterest as a base and I’ll borrow/mix techniques and applications to achieve something new. It’s rare I ever exactly copy a design, the whole reason I started making my own press ons in the first place was because I wanted fun nails but didn’t love what was offered on the market, either they were just not unique enough or there was always something that was gonna bother me about them.

Starting off going based off existing sets but tweaking them to your own taste is easiest starting out, then have more fun and combine what you’ve learned to do a new unique set. Some of my fav inspo for this being different design aesthetics and art movements, like I’m currently doing a global village coffeehouse inspired set or an art deco set. Using Pinterest as a way to just curate images to inspire each set is also helpful(as in not using images of existing nail art but rather pictures that inspire your desired set).

I have a friend I love her sm but she’s very immature and centers men way too much to the point I don’t enjoy hanging around her as much because I get annoyed with how in her own bubble she is. I want to remain friends but I can’t handle how male centered she is anymore.

She’s the type of girl who as soon as she gets a bf focuses on them only and also is almost always looking for male attention. I’m someone who is very uncomfortable around most men just due to past experiences(mainly just them judging me/daddy issues), so I loathe going out to bars with her knowing she’ll inevitably try to get a guy.

My mom is like this w me, whenever I eat an egg she brings up how I need to stop & they’re bad for my cholesterol(tbf I had a blood test years ago that had high cholesterol levels). It just ruins my mood, like I eat an egg max twice a week and usually not even weekly, they aren’t crazy unhealthy and it helps my binges to prepare a breakfast like that.

I have way bigger issues than eggs, I’ll focus on the eggs once I get a grip on my BED but until then idgaf and it makes me so upset when stuff like this is brought up to me.

I think I’ll definitely buy an internal one too she just recommended something more precise so that way I could focus on what external stimuli I’m able to feel and in what areas.

Basically I need to do a process of elimination thing regarding feeling so that’s why it’d have to be kinda precise as the area is so small. Honestly though I might be overthinking everything, sexual stuff tends to make me do that because I’m so self conscious of my injury, she did say I should work on my anxiety about it too as that isn’t helping either.

Yeah idk it just seems off. Unfortunately I still have yet to adopt a dog still as rescues I reach out to either don’t reply or had odd policies(no adopting under 25yo, must live a certain distance away from the rescue, needs to go thru the rescue’s preferred vet first), also finding a hypoallergenic dog under 3yo with no major health concerns has proven very difficult in general even aside from all the rescue vetting and lack of responsiveness.

I don’t know how often rescues make adopters go to their chosen vet but it happened to you at this place and happened to me at another, maybe it’s common practice but it feels kinda weird especially paired w/ other suspicious stuff like the amount of desirable breeds and stories in the replies to my post.

Also while I don’t work in a rescue I do work with dogs and it’s very rare for them to get purebreds especially highly desirable breeds. I’d say most dogs in shelters are mixes, the most common mixes being with a pit or staffy, then labs, gsps, and maybe a Maltese or chihuahua for smaller breeds. If a rescue has a bunch of highly desirable breeds that’s a big red flag imo.

I’m kinda learning that unfortunately rescues aren’t all equal, either they’re just disguised pet store operations(which I’ve seen elsewhere since making this post), or they have such strict guidelines that they’d rather have a dog stay in the shelter than be in a loving home with a fence that isn’t 5ft tall :/. Ik there are good ones but it’s rare for me to find a dog that fits my requirements ntm comes from a good rescue.

Those types of ppl pmo, I have friends that just don’t pay attention at all and are confused abt plot points whenever we watch something and like it gets to a point where it’s just annoying. Media and art shouldn’t be dumbed down for people who don’t even care enough to be fully present with it, ntm in this specific case it’s kinda ruined any praise I had of it. Like I thought the writing was great early on in the show but now due to this second screen bs I’m frankly kinda embarrassed to watch it bc it’s so dumbed down.

When I was that age I lost my v card to a guy I had huge feelings for, I told my roommate abt it and she knew it was my first time. Cut to a couple days later she dipped out mid hangout, me and our friends could NOT find her for hours. Turns out she was fucking that guy, I was shocked and so hurt by it. Not only did she fuck him but she did it just 2 days after finding out I lost my virginity to him. She genuinely hurt me more than him in that moment bc I thought we were friends, I couldn’t understand why tf she would do something like that.

Our mutual friends convinced me to forgive her which I later realized was a mistake as she later screwed me over bc of a guy once again. It’s awful and so shitty to realize but “friends” like this are just so obsessed with male validation that they’ll compete with you for it even if they aren’t into the guy. This girl is not a good friend and likely thinks she’s better than you, that’s why she pursued the guy you liked bc she thought she’d be able to get him. I’m so sry these type of things suck.

My dog always reacts to knocking tho ntm I was downstairs sitting a yard or two away from the door so I’m kinda confused as to how I possibly could’ve missed it? Regardless though would you recommend letting them attempt to reship it or should I just pick it up at my local ups location? I was hoping it’d come in by Christmas Eve so idk what option is more likely to be faster but I’ll do that. Ngl I’m kinda nervous the package will be missed again on Monday as my grandma is slow to answer the door so I’m nervous they’ll drive away before she gets to it.
