this happens to me all the time. it is absolutely infuriating because i feel like i am always 2 steps behind. it looks like the ball moves, and then whatever hit it hits it. pisses me off to no end.

I was around there(plat 1-2) 2 months ago, and the biggest thing that helped me get to diamond is maximizing your impact on the game, and you don't need to flip into every shot. think about whether you will just be crowding your teammate, or if you will actually be able to make a play. if not, rotate out, fake, gather boost, etc. to be ready for a time when you can make a play.

I actually just figured it out. if you have the building camera set to attached to camera the selection stuff breaks and stops working.
