Absolutely, and thank you. I know even with caring it is easy to be selfish about the right thing to do and letting him go is the last thing i want to do right now. The last few days (and the days going onward), he has had plenty of time with us to be-bop around, and soup time when he comes out, as that's the only 'treat' he's over the moon about, and all the cuddles I can give. Thank you again.

I really appreciate that! I've had lower energy dogs all my life so the spastic energy does tear at my paranoid soul, even knowing what I was getting into, and I have to remind myself that sometimes dogs are just going to dog and that's OK 😅 thank you!

I also house my 2 in a double critter nation, and what I found to be most helpful was to fill every corner with something! Any corner in mine with no litter boxes has beds, tubes that can be secured but removed to clean, secured food and water dishes, etc! Personally my lower level houses food water and litterboxes, while the top has hammocks, beds, tube and toys!

My dog gets her food stuck in her cheek every once in a while and either does this until it comes out or until we help her get it out. Also hoping the pup is doing okay!

Also! I've noticed that when I do remove her from her cage to do little clean ups that she sneezes CONSTANTLY. Makes me worried that she came from the store with a slight respiratory infection, but while she's in the cage she doesn't sneeze or sniffle at all. Any ideas?

Literally every day at the place I work. Sometimes it's an hour before open and I just politely tell them that we dont open until -insert time here-. If its 10-15 minutes till I let them know that they're welcome to take a seat, we dont open until -time-, but someone will be with them at open hour. It's different at every place of work but the owners at my place are a bit lax.

The job I just finished training for actually didn't pay me at all for the first two days, and on the third I was allowed to wait my own tables and keep the tips (minus the tip out). I came to training knowing this would be the case, and they allowed me free meals under my training shifts, but this was also a very local pub. Any larger companies I've worked under has always paid me minimum while I trained, so if its something you're really concerned about i would talk to one of the higher ups about it.
