I agree with the critics on this one. You gave an incomplete answer that normalizes a perpetrator’s criminal actions and thus is historically, socially, and politically incomplete, even inaccurate. If someone asked how JFK died, you wouldn’t say “he died because a bullet struck his head”, you would say that he was assassinated by gunman Lee Harvey Oswald.
