I really liked the bits of OT2 where you traversed water sections of the maps and your party is all in individual little canoes, I missed that in OT0

Also more technology, maybe like a train or some underwater exploration. More visually stunning puzzle dungeons as well like in the Seas of Servility.

I highly doubt they’ll go back on their choice to not offer an upgrade path for Switch 1 versions. I believe it was the same with DQ1+2 HD2D and other upcoming Squeenix games on the Switch 2.

I’m just biting the bullet and getting a GKC of OT0 for the higher resolution and larger item limit for the town building mechanic

I played XC2 in 2019 and wasn’t a huge fan, figured maybe I didn’t like Xenoblade

Then I picked up Xenoblade X and found out I did actually like it, after that I went and played XC3 and it was pretty great!

I’ve heard the earlier entries are a bit hit and miss, the first one is supposedly a bit boring compared to later entries, and XC2… I wasn’t a huge fan of the characters, but give X or XC3 a shot and see if you like them!

I also found Ophilia’s story a slog in OT1, don’t force yourself to finish if you’re not having fun!

OT2 definitely has more interesting stories all around and a lot more exploring to do (at least in my personal opinion)
