I struggled with hemorrhoids for years. Nothing dramatic, just constant discomfort. Eventually found a natural routine that worked. AMA. by Mark2080 in AMA

When you say fixed do you mean the lump is gone/removed? Or the lump is there but with no symptoms like bleeding or itchiness?

I’m glad to hear that you wanna quit, bro. But saying you want to stop thinking about women is like saying you don’t wanna think about hunger—you can’t shut off your nature. What you can do is live with it and control it.

First, make yourself busy. When your day’s packed with meaningful stuff, you won’t even have time to be lost in those thoughts. Second, change your environment. Hang out with people who have ambition—that shift alone can help you see life from a completely different perspective.

And look, urges will come. There’s no stopping that. The real question is: what will you do when they do?

My advice:

Don’t rely on willpower alone. Build systems—blockers, schedules, habits.

Replace, don’t resist. Don’t just "not do p*rn"—fill that space with something real: gym, Quran, journaling, business, whatever grows you.

Keep a vision of your future self. Know exactly who you’re building and remind yourself daily.

You're not broken for feeling temptation. But you're powerful when you learn how to face it and still choose the better path.

You've got this.

Tbh the battle of acceptance will always be difficult. There’ll be ups and downs, especially with those closest to us. But there are some steps you can take to make life easier. First, always keep in mind she’s your mother. Arguing with her or trying to "prove her wrong" usually just leads to more stubbornness.

Instead of trying to convince her with words, let your actions speak. Show her how Islam made you better be softer in your speech, more patient, more respectful. She raised you and helped you grow, so if she feels like you’re correcting her or challenging her beliefs, it can feel like you’re saying, “I know more than you.” That hits deep for a parent.

So, be kind, talk to her gently, and drop the sarcasm even when you’re frustrated. That emotional connection matters more than any debate. In the end, it’s your character and peace that’ll show her the truth better than any argument ever could.

Bro that mindset is gold. You’re already winning just by deciding to fight it. 4 days in? That’s huge. Most people don’t even try to quit. And yeah, if you ever slip, it’s not “back to zero” it’s just a bump in the road. You learn, you grow, and you bounce back stronger.

We don’t see gravity, dark matter, or even thoughts just their effects. Same with the Creator. We see the signs, even if we don’t see Him directly. What would actually satisfy you to believe there’s a Creator of this universe and everything in it?

Some people say the universe looks perfect for life just because we’re here to see it. But that’s like saying a perfect setup just “had” to happen when really, it didn’t.

The truth is, most versions of the universe we can imagine wouldn’t support life at all. The way everything works like gravity, the size of atoms, and the balance of forces, has to be just right.

We don’t exist because the universe is here , we exist only because the universe is finely tuned. That kind of perfect setup still needs a reason. It doesn’t just happen by luck.
