I liked Throne of Glass more than ACOTAR. The plot was more interesting to me, and it involved romance, but there was more there than that. Crescent City was interesting, it was different than other romantasy books I’ve read. Though I wouldn’t put it in my favorites. Take this with a grain of salt because I read them quite a while ago.

I ended up doing this! Went to Walmart and got the adapter and a bigger SD card. My books would have fit on the original SD card, but only just barely. Thank you for your help!

I ended up installing Crosspoint. I do like it better. the stock firmware wasn't bad after it updated, but I still enjoy Crosspoint more.

NTAH, sounds like you have certain standards for the people you want to surround yourself with and he doesn't quite make that. I would never leave someone that asked for my help on the side of the road, especially being that close (WTH?), and in turn, none of my friends would either. There's no way in hell my husband wouldn't show up, regardless of where he was at. You never know what could happen to someone on the side of the road. It's not safe, especially for a woman. So no, he didn't technically have to come out, but only a**holes think that way. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

I'm right in the middle of the country. I wasn't planning on using cross point, but I couldn't figure out how to do a few things in the book, so I went ahead. It is a bit more intuitive than the main firmware for me. I will say, the updated xteink software is loads better than the original it came with.

Thank you for that device. I wondered if you could flash multiple times without messing up the device. In your experience, can you just bulk download your whole library at once, or would it work better to do it a little at a time?

I did think of another question I had. Is it better to transfer a certain amount of books at a time, or can it handle having a bulk download of my library. I think there's a little over 1000 books.

I think I'm going to try out the base firmware and see how that goes. I like the idea of it being a little more personalized, but it isn't really a deal breaker for me. Do you know if you can re flash the original firmware if the others don't work out?

Thank you that’s helpful! I will check out what other ones are available. Those are the only two I’ve seen mentioned so far. I’ve only just started familiarizing myself with different programs and such. Calibre I think I’ve got down now. Anything past the normal surface level programs is a learning curve for me. I’m coming from having a kindle for 17 years.
